Weekly Lessons: Life, Beauty, Fashion, Lifestyle and Perspectives

Hello dear readers,

There will be a lessons-filled post that I hope to consistently publish every Sunday which will be a new series in this blog. It will start next week (August 24, 2014, Sunday).

The posts may differ depending on the topic but they`ll be surely worth reading because a person`s mistakes and experiences in life are stories filled with knowledge-giving insights to precious wisdom. This series can tackle lessons about life, beauty, fashion, lifestyle, perspectives and other related topics.


Through this series, I aspire to help, motivate and inspire the readers with the different lessons we can all really get great knowledge from. Although I am in no way a professional to give advice and suggestions about life, I believe that you don`t have to have a college degree or a certification to help and inspire people. Just like a small child that plays freely can inspire adults to see the beauty in letting go of worries, doubts and problems. With this series, I aspire to convey my thoughts about the different lessons we can learn even from the small things in life.

Maybelline: Baby Lips Dr. Rescue Review

Maybelline is a popular drugstore brand that mainly sells cosmetic an beauty care related products. One of their popular line is the Baby Lips which includes the Dr. Rescue`s icy mint repair lip balm.

Dr. Rescue repair lip balm has SPF 30 that`ll protect the lips from the harmful rays of the sun. It claims to give moisturizing effects for 12 hour anti-cracks and anti-chaps. It`s regular retail price is Php 99.00.

How to Use

1.) Open the cap

2.) Roll at the bottom of the lip balm so that the product will come out.

3.) Apply the product evenly on the lips.

4.) Roll back at the bottom of the lip balm so that the product will go down.

5.) Put the cap back.

Review

Experience

When I applied this lip balm, it felt cold and soothing. It has a menthol scent to it. It nicely moisturized and softened my lips.

Pros

1.) It`s moisturizing and soothing.

2.) It feels cold on the lips at first.

3.) It has SPF 30.

Cons

1.) It won`t really make your lips free of cracks or chaps for 12 hours because you might still get them.

How long will the product last?

This will depend on how you use the product. Based on past usage of Baby lips lip balms, mostly it can last up to 2-3 months by using it everyday.

Watsons Personal Care Stores, Mercury Drug Store and most beauty sections of department stores like at SM, Metro and Robinsons Malls.

Suggestions

♡ Use the product at least once or twice a day.

♡ Remove the product on your lips if you`re going to eat or drink.

♡ Reapply the product after eating and drinking.

All in all, this is a good product because it nicely moisturizes the lips well.
